By Plane to Verona “Valerio Catullo” airport
(Verona-Trento by Train about 1 hour)
The closest airport is the international airport of Verona Catullo. The airport offers connections to the major European destinations, including the international hubs of Frankfurt, Paris, London Gatwick, and Rome, and some low-cost flights (RyanAir from Frankfurt and Bremen; Transavia from Amsterdam; Germanwings from Berlin, Bonn and London Stansted). From the Verona Catullo airport to Verona "Porta Nuova" Railway Station an Aerobus service is available all the days every 20 minutes.
Just outside the "Arrivals terminal" of Verona airport you can find the shuttle to the railway station. (In any case you can ask for "The bus to the Verona Porta Nuova railway station")
• You can buy the ticket either directly on the bus or inside the airport in a ticket booth.
• The cost of a one-way ticket is 5 Euro. (You can also buy the ticket to come back)
• The bus is available from 6.35am to 11.35pm every 20 minutes
• The duration of trip from the Airport to the station is around 20 minutes

By plane to Milano “Malpensa”
(Milano-Trento by train about 3.5 hours)
The international airport of Milano Malpensa can be considered to reach Trento.
From Malpensa airport take the Malpensa Express train into Milano, Stazione Nord (prices and timetables Malpensa Express). Once there, take subway line 2 (green line) to reach the Central Train Station (prices and timetables ATM-MI public transportation). Then, from the Central Train Station in Milano, to reach Trento, take the train (prices and timetables FS train). Please, note that the train from Milan to Trento takes about 3.5 hours.
By plane to Milano “Linate”
(Milano-Trento by train about 3.5 hours)
The airport of Milano Linate can be considered to reach Trento. Milano Linate is just 7 km from the Milano city centre and can be easily reached with various airport bus lines and with ATM lines 73 and X73, which will take you 25 minutes. Also the taxi can be considered. Please, note that the train from Milan to Trento takes about 3.5 hours.
By plane to the international airporto of Orio al Serio
(Bergamo-Trento by train about 3.5 hours)
The international airport of Orio al Serio (Bergamo) is a basis for many low-cost flights (e.g., RyanAir from London Stansted, Paris Beauvais, Barcellona Girona, Valencia) (The airport is easily reachable by bus from Bergamo, Milan and Brescia. To reach Trento by train, you may take the ATB service, which, in only 10 minutes, will bring you to Bergamo railway station (trains time table).

By plane to Venice “Marco Polo” airport

The International Airport of Venice can be considered to reach Trento. The Venice airport is well connected to the railway station of Venezia-Mestre. By plane to Munich airport

Train tickets can be purchased at the railway station. Italian train tickets must be stamped with the yellow machines available at the platform (binario) entrance before getting on the train. In buying your ticket you should specify the arrival station (Trento), the train you are planning to take (some InterCity trains require a supplement that is more expensive if purchased on the train) and the class: 1st (prima) or 2nd (seconda). First class is more comfortable and about 60% more expensive.

From Verona Porta Nuova to Trento
Once you arrived with the bus at the Verona station (the bus stops just in front of the railway station) you can buy the train ticket to Trento directly in the station (there are some ticket booths and some ticket vending machines available at the entrance of the station).
The costs of the tickets spans from around 10 Euro for the "Treno regionale", to 27 Euro for the "Frecciargento" train that is a fast train (available only two times during the day).
The duration of the trip from Verona to Trento is around 1 hour and 15 minutes for the "Treno regionale" (some of them 1 hour and 5 mins other 1 hour and 20 mins)- 55 minutes for the "Frecciargento" fast train. For tickets and timetable see Trenitalia website from Verona to Trento.
Please, note that the last train to Trento leaves at 10:49pm from Verona station, so be prepared to spend one night in Verona in case your flight arrives later.
By car via A22 motorway
If you are reaching Trento from the north, exit the A22 motorway at TRENTO NORD and follow the signs to go to the Trento city center.
If you are reaching Trento from the south, exit the A22 motorway at TRENTO SUD and follow the signs to go to the Trento city center.

BUS: the town has an efficient urban travel system (yellow buses) run by Trentino Trasporti. At the Trentino Trasporti main bus station (Via Pozzo, Trento) you can pick up a free timetable “Guida ai trasporti del Trentino”.
